Valentina Sumavsky Olivares is a Mexican-American actress born in Los Angeles, California, United States. At the age of three, she moved to Mexico City due to the artistic career of her mother, Maritza Olivares, a renowned Mexican actress of the 1970s and 1980s. Later, at the age of seven, she moved to Cuernavaca, Morelos, where she spent much of her childhood.

Her artistic training began at the age of nine at the Maritza Olivares Performing Arts Center (CAEMO), where she developed her passion for acting. At eleven, she made her acting debut with a leading role in the play "In Search of a Home," presented at the Ocampo Theater in Cuernavaca.

At 18, she decided to broaden her horizons and moved to Vancouver, Canada, to study Acting for Film and Television at the Vancouver Film School (VFS), one of the most prestigious visual arts institutions in the world. During her studies, she stood out as one of the most talented students, earning recognition from her teachers.
